Hope of Glory, Colossians 1:27 -Written by Lisa Gillespie

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.  Colossians 1:27

One of the rich mysteries of the Christian life is that, as believers, we are assured that Christ lives within each one of us who calls Jesus Savior.  It is because of the indwelling presence of Christ that believers are able to find hope.

The hope of glory is the fulfillment of God’s promise to restore us and all creation.  This hope is not a wishful thought, but the confident, expectant, joyful knowledge that we are being changed by God and will one day see Christ face to face!

Christ is in our hearts, and we know that there is life beyond this earthly existence—a life that will be glorious beyond all imagination.

As we contemplate this amazing relationship, and as we journey through this Lenten season, we can know for certain that as we allow God to transform us in our daily life, it is preparing us to one day meet Jesus.

Is Jesus your source of Hope?
